  Second Track of Sports Clubs Investment and Privatization Project Starts

In coordination with the National Center for Privatization & PPP, the Ministry of Sport announced on Sunday ​December 31, 2023, the start of the second track of the Sports Clubs Investment and Privatization Project. The project was launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. It aims to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and to promote private sector involvement in the growth and development of the sports industry while ensuring the desired outcome for sports teams and national teams in particular.

The second track of the project includes registering the interest of local and international entities interested in investing in sports clubs as a first step to begin the offering process. Interested entities wishing to invest in sports clubs can visit the link below.

It is noteworthy that the project underpins three strategic objectives: fostering investment opportunities and an appealing investment environment in the sports sector; boosting professionalism, governance, and financial sustainability in sports clubs; and enhancing clubs' competitiveness and infrastructure. The ultimate impact will see the provision of world-class services to sports fans, enriching the fan experience and driving community participation.
