Saudi Arabia Participates in 49th Session of Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports in Cairo

His Excellency Abdulilah bin Saad Al-Dalak, Assistant Minister of Sport, headed the delegation of the Saudi Arabia participating in the 49th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports and the meetings of its Executive Office. The meetings were held from January 11 to 13, 2026, at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, with the participation of a number of Their Excellencies and senior officials, Ministers of Youth and Sports from Arab countries.
The 49th session witnessed the election of members of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Youth and Sports for the 2026–2030 term. Saudi Arabia won a seat on the Executive Office after receiving 21 votes out of 22, alongside Kuwait, Jordan, Morocco, Bahrain, Libya, Iraq, and Algeria.
