AlUla Tour Upgraded to Second Tier of World’s Leading Cycling Races

The Organizing Committee of the AlUla Tour 2026 announced on Tuesday evening, January 6, 2026, that the race has been upgraded to the UCI ProSeries (2.Pro) category, placing it among the second tier of the world’s most prestigious professional cycling events.
The announcement comes ahead of the race, which the Kingdom will host in the historic AlUla Governorate from January 27 to 31. The event is organized by the Saudi Cycling Federation, in collaboration with ASO and the Royal Commission for AlUla, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.
