 First stage of the GSA Scout Center work initiation

 The first stage of the GSA Scout Center work schedule for the year 2016 which will last until 10/09/2016 was initiated on Saturday in Mina – Mekkah Al Mukarramah in order to serve pilgrims during the Hajj season in partnership with the Ministry of Hajj.

This stage will include the clearance operation of all areas especially Hajj campaigns located in Mina using the latest techniques in order to pave the way for the issuance of this year’s guide, issuing the electronic and paper guidance maps, entering the data to the system after updating it, entering the data to GPS devices used in the guidance operations and that will be used in the second stage of the schedule for guiding pilgrims to their residences in Mina in addition to providing all the required services as for pilgrims to perform their rituals easily.

550 persons from the scout nominated by the Authority’s offices from different Saudi regions and who are part of sport clubs and dorms will participate in the two stages of the program.

The Authority, under the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Abdullah Bin Musaed Bin Abdulaziz, was keen on providing all the required capacities that contribute to performing the mission of the center easily in order to serve pilgrims.

It is noteworthy that the scout center is composed of a number of committees including the medical committee formed of a doctor and a nurse from Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Hospital for Sports Medicine, information technology, clearance and guidance committee, cultural committee, tournament, services and equipment committee, food committee, media committee and public relations committee.
