The Kingdom hosts the IHF men’s Super Globe 2021
The Ministry of Sport announced on Friday, September 17, 2021 that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the IHF Men’s Super Globe for the second consecutive time in Jeddah. The Super Globe will take place from October 5 to October 9, 2021 in coordination with the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation as a part of the “Quality of Life” Program.
Ten clubs from different countries of the world will participate in the Championship, which will be hosted at King Abdullah Sports City, led by the representatives of the Kingdom, the “host country,” Al Noor and Al Wahda teams, as well as the Qatari Al Duhail club, the Asian champion, Aalborg Danish, the European champion, and the Australian University of Sydney Team "Champions of Oceania", Cal Heat San Francisco "Champions of North America and the Caribbean", Brazilian Pineros "Champions of South and Central America", Zamalek of Egypt "Champions of Africa", Barcelona of Spain "Champions of the previous edition", and the German team Magdeburg, who will participate at the invitation of the International Handball Federation.
